Invitation
Another beautiful gathering for the books. As we opened sacred time and space, we welcomed and asked for permission from the ancestors of these lands.
We called in the sacred essence of each direction to join us and support us during the evening.
We shared intentions, so that the spirit of the heart could help us manifest that which is good for each one present.
We communed with the medicine of the heart—the medicine of the heart of the mountain—to support our expansion and bridge the mind and the heart as one.
In this sacred container, and with the support of our ancestors, we acknowledged the Eagle and the Condor as they fly together in manifestation of a living prophecy that has been shared with communities around the world.
We honored our elders—those who have touched our lives and cheered us on—so that we may be messengers for Mother Earth, messengers of peace and unity, and strive to become better human beings. And finally, we celebrated life. We celebrated each other, because the celebration of life is everyone’s inspiration. We laughed, we sang, we shared poems, music, and stories.
The words of our ancestors moved through us that evening. It was Flor y Canto—In xochitl, in cuikatl.
