An Intuitive Exploration of Guitar & Voice This offering is designed for beginners and intermediate players who feel called to start—or deepen—their relationship with the guitar as a creative and expressive instrument. Together, we will explore: Fingerpicking fundamentals to develop fluidity and confidence A variety of strumming techniques, using the palm, thumb, and index finger to create a richer, more dynamic sound Foundational chord shapes that support intuitive playing Rhythmic patterns that can be easily incorporated into medicine songs and ceremonial music Voice exploration, learning how to gently introduce the voice as an extension of the instrument These techniques will serve as a strong, adaptable foundation—one that can be applied to medicine music, devotional songs, and your own personal expressions.
